Check spam and confirm that the address was typed correctly. Then request a new verification email from the sign-in page. Only the newest link should be used. Havre never asks for your password by email.
Request a reset from the sign-in page. The response does not reveal whether an account exists. A reset link works once, expires after 30 minutes, and signs out existing sessions after the password changes.
Search results are a quote, not a reservation. Availability is checked again before payment and again when the registry receives the request. If payment settles but Havre cannot deliver the domain, the full charge becomes refundable under the refund policy.
Do not submit the same purchase with a new order. Havre uses one order reference to prevent duplicate registration and retries delivery automatically after a settled payment. Check the domain dashboard and service email for the current state.
Confirm that the domain is unlocked and that the authorization code is current. The present registrar or registrant may also need to approve the transfer. Do not cancel the domain or change its nameservers while the transfer is pending.
Open the domain management page and change automatic renewal online. Turning it off prevents the next scheduled renewal charge but does not cancel the registration term already purchased. Enabling it requires an authorized saved payment method.
Confirm that the saved record and nameservers are correct in the domain dashboard. Resolver caches can keep an older answer until its TTL expires. Havre supports defects in its own DNS controls, but configuring an unrelated hosting or email service is outside the included product support.
A failed registration or incoming transfer is returned to the original payment method. Banks commonly take additional business days to display a card refund. Include the order reference if you contact Havre, but never send card details.
Open Website hosting in your Havre account and check the recorded stage. Domain attachment, WordPress installation, SSL, and the first privacy check are separate provider tasks. Do not buy the plan again or create a new order reference. Havre retries an incomplete paid order and escalates an OVH platform task when necessary.
Open Website hosting in your Havre account and choose Build my site. Havre walks through four short steps: choose colours, say what you do and who it is for, explain why someone should choose you, and show how to make contact. A website preview changes as you type. Only the current step is shown, and Back never erases an answer. Havre then places the first draft into Home, About, and Contact once. You can edit every word as normal WordPress content, and Havre will not regenerate over later edits.
The first-draft questions include background, text, and button colours. If the text choice is difficult to read against the background, Havre automatically uses a readable dark or light foreground. After setup, choose Change colours, fonts and layout to make more detailed changes in the visual Site Editor.
During the first questions, describe what the photo should show and choose Show me free photos. Havre searches CC0 images from the WordPress Photo Directory. Choose one and Havre copies it into your own Media Library, shows it in the preview, and records its source and licence. There is no image fee or subscription. You can instead upload your own photo. Later, open Edit my Home page, select the image, and choose Replace.
Open Want a paid premium photo instead only if the free results are not suitable. Envato Elements requires a subscription; some Envato Market assets can be purchased separately. Buy and license the asset in your own Envato account, then upload it through the WordPress Media Library. Havre may earn a commission from a marked affiliate link without changing your price. Havre does not supply, sublicense, or support Envato assets.
Open Build my site and choose Edit my Home page, Edit my About page, or Edit my Contact page. Every generated headline, paragraph, link, and email address is a normal WordPress block. Click the words, type the replacement, preview, and save. Havre does not lock generated copy or require a special editor.
Open Build my site and find Optional growth tools. Follow Start the 14-day free trial, add your website in Illumino, and paste the public site key—not the script code—into Havre. Havre installs the approved tracking tag automatically. The trial and any subscription after day 14 belong to Illumino and are not included in the Havre hosting renewal.
Create the audience and signup form in Epistolē, including its consent wording and exact allowed website origin. Copy the public form key into Optional growth tools, then choose Add the signup form to my Contact page. You can also insert the Grow your email list pattern on another page. Epistolē owns confirmation, consent, subscribers, abuse controls, and email delivery.
Use a page for information that should remain easy to find, such as About, Services, Menu, Projects, Contact, or Frequently Asked Questions. Use a post for dated writing such as news, stories, advice, announcements, or journal entries. Havre provides separate Add a new page and Write a blog post buttons.
While editing a page, select the plus button, choose Patterns, and open Havre guided sections. Choose Introduce what you do, Explain your services, Tell your story, Invite the next step, or Grow your email list. Then click the prompt text and replace it. The first four use only WordPress core blocks. The email-list pattern loads Epistolē only after a valid public form key is connected.
Choose Change colours, fonts and layout from Build my site. The visual Site Editor opens your whole website. Select Styles for site-wide colours and typography, or select the visible header or footer to edit it. Preview the change before saving. Havre starting styles use block themes so these controls are available without code.
Open Build my site, expand I made a mess or want to explore more, and choose Restore starter pages. Havre restores the original content of Home, About, Contact, and Blog. It does not delete pages or posts you created yourself. This does not undo changes made by third-party themes, plugins, or custom code.
The mark is withdrawn whenever the latest browser check finds an unknown or unapproved visitor-data destination, or when the check itself cannot complete. Open the public privacy evidence from Website hosting to see the hostname. Remove the integration or use the suggested Illumino, Epistolē, local-font, or click-to-load replacement; the next passing check restores the mark.
Select the Havre mark or open the privacy evidence from Website hosting. The public record shows what Havre checked, the hosting-region result, observed external destinations, checked time, evidence digest, method and limitations. Download the JSON record when a customer or procurement form asks for current website-hosting evidence. It covers only the named website and stated period. It is not an independent certification, legal advice, proof of whole-business compliance, or proof that every system your business uses stores data in Canada.
Havre supports the hosting setup and Havre connector. Content, third-party themes, plugins, custom code, and their compatibility remain the site owner’s responsibility. If the OVH hosting platform, included database, SSL, or file service is failing, Havre collects the provider task and service evidence and escalates that platform issue to OVH.
Choose Cancel at term end from Website hosting. Auto-renew turns off immediately, but the paid site stays online through the displayed paid-through date. Havre then requests termination and withdraws the privacy mark. Download content and any supported backup before that date.
Contact asynchronous support with the site, approximate restore point, and whether the files, database, or both are affected. Do not send a WordPress, database, or FTP password. Havre can coordinate restore operations included with the OVH offer; repairing content or custom code after the restore is not included.
Havre supports defects in its account, checkout, registration, incoming transfer, renewal, domain and DNS controls, hosting orchestration, connector, and privacy-check service. Havre also coordinates documented failures in the underlying OVH hosting platform. Support is asynchronous by email; there is no live chat or phone support.
Custom plans, customer-specific integrations, content creation, branding, page building, migration work, theme or plugin repair, custom code, third-party application setup, DNS strategy, business advice, and legal interpretation are consulting or third-party work and are not included.
